Who are the sitters at Happy Toms? All our sitters are experienced cat owners, NARPS accredited, fully insured, and DBS checked.
What areas do you serve? We operate in the West Midlands area, specifically catering for, Dudley, Rowley Regis, Halesowen, Cradley, Oldbury, Stourbridge, Hagley.
What makes Happy Toms different from other cat sitting services? We offer personalized attention, daily updates, and video calls, along with additional services like mail collection and plant watering. We also have a trained animal psychologist on staff to help advise on behavioural issues.
Services
What does each sitting session include? Each session includes feeding and watering your pet, administering medication if required, brushing and fussing, health checks, and disposal of litter tray contents. We can also bring in mail, water houseplants, and can provide daily updates or video calls.
How long is each sitting session? Each sitting session lasts 30 minutes.
What are the available time slots for visits?
- Early visit: 7am – 11am
- Late visit: 3pm – 7pm
Can I specify a particular timeframe for the visit? While we cannot guarantee a specific time due to traffic and other appointments, please let us know your preference, and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
How many cats can you care for in one session? We generally operate a maximum of 3 cats per household for a standard sitting session. If you require sitting for more than 3 cats, please contact us to discuss your needs.
Pricing & Terms
How much does a sitting session cost? From £10.50 per sitting session (depending on area/radius from your nearest professional) as travelling can be done but may cost a little extra.
Is there a preferred number of sittings per day? For your cat’s wellbeing, we recommend and prefer 2 visits per day.
Are there any additional charges for holidays? Additional charges may apply for sittings on bank holidays, Christmas, New Year, and Easter. Please mention these dates when booking.
Is the initial consultation free? Yes, all initial consultations are free of charge, with no obligation.
Behavioural Services
Can you help with my cat’s behavioural issues? Yes, our trained animal psychologist can observe your pet’s behaviour during sitting sessions and offer advice on behavioural issues at no extra cost.
Can I book for a Pet Behaviour advice session only. (No sitting required) Yes, We also offer a specific behaviour consultation service. A full 30 minute consultation with our trained phycologist, whereby we can advise on behavioural issues and courses of action to remedy them.
Just mention this service during your initial consultation.
What kind of behavioural issues can you help with? Drawing from our expertise in feline psychology. We can provide advice on a wide range of behavioural issues, including furniture scratching and food stealing through to unwanted toilet habits and more ..
